I just returned from playing the fabulous Jemez Stage Stop in Jemez Springs, New Mexico, my flute player Tami Griffin joined me for three shows in Jemez Springs, two consecutive nights at the Stage Stop and then a set at Los Ojas Tavern, The Stage Stop was a fantastic place to play and we will be returning there in the future to perform, shortly before that we did a show at Ruta Maya in Austin, it was a Hondo Presents Production and we shared the bill with two other acts including the wonderful Corrina Rachel and her Dreamland Band. .it was a night to remember with a lot of our friends and fans coming out for the performance, in addition to Tami on flute, I was joined by long-time friend Shakespeare on lead guitar, the show was recorded and I hope to post some samples soon on Facebook, Myspace, ReverbNation and You Tube.

Before that I spent 18 days at the Kerrville Folk Festival playing song circles and various Campground stages including SkyHigh Metroplex, Crow's Nest, Camp Mix'd Nuts, The Butterfly Garden, Chez Rebellion, Camp Moco Verde, Camp Calm and many others. .

I had the pleasure of sharing songs with many of my friends both old and new, this year's highlights included song circles with Jiminy Crisket, Leann Atherton, Marietta Robards, Helena Nash, Brian Cutean, David Lewellyn, Eric Schwartz, Randall Williams, Joe Jencks, Carol Cadozo, Liz Richardson, Moonshine Summit, and so many other fine musicians, we had a blast and it was a very rewarding festival.

Before that I performed out at Quiet Valley Ranch, in Kerrville Texas, as many of you know, it's the home of the world famous Kerrville Folk Festival. I performed onstage for the staff and volunteers who came out for the work weekend and the work weekend concert series. It was a beautiful night in the Texas Hill Country and the Ranch was aglow with magical musical energy..Special thanks to all who attended !

In upcoming shows I will be showcasing some of the new original songs from my forthcoming CD release which features an all star line-up of guests on the recording, the CD features guest performances by the amazing Sara Hickman, Laura Freeman, Kristin DeWitt, Mark Hallman, Christopher Yarrow, Erin Jo, Theo Bick, Marietta Robards and several others. .tentative release date is Fall of 2010
